Pedagogy Of The Academy

Civil Service Examination is conducted in three phases Prelims, Mains and Interview.

The questions asked are not direct but opinion based and dynamic which require conceptual clarity, assimilation and thorough processing of information. Building up such a thought process requires inputs from various disciplines, thorough readings, regular updates, expert opinions, pruning of one`s skills, practice and cross examination. The process usually takes a time span of around two years.

Institute has planned coaching for UPSC. This includes prelims, mains and interview preparation which include Mock interviews by the committee of experts and experienced members. Institute also conducts coaching for optional subject’s viz. History, Geography, Economics, Public Administration, Political Science, and Sociology. Faculties are senior, well experienced and have vast experience of UPSC coaching proper. Care is taken for doubt clearance on one to one basis. All the time faculties are available to guide to the students in institute.

Apart from lectures and doubt sessions the Academy arranges expert lectures of IAS/IPS/IRS Officials to guide students and resolve their doubts about career as civil servant.

Given the limited time frame and the magnitude of the examination the institute offers the candidate various benefits such as:

  1. Building conceptual clarity in a relatively short span of time.
  2. Ensuring consistency and developing perseverance.
  3. Confidence building through sufficient practice.
  4. Time management.
  5. Proper Guidance from experienced teachers.
  6. Nurturing competence through test series.
  7. Periodic interaction with successful candidates.

The institute condemns the practice of spoon feeding and commits itself to impart quality education. As quoted by sir Albert Einstein – “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learnt in the school”.
